Quilting Fabrics

Spoonflower prints on demand which means we do not stock finished goods. We only print after an item has been purchased, helping to reduce deadstock and unsold goods that would otherwise end up in landfills. Every item you receive is carefully printed, cut, packaged in the USA and shipped just for you.

Each design sold by Spoonflower is created by an independent artist who receives a royalty with every purchase.

All fabrics are offered in yards, fat quarters and 8”x8” swatches.  

We carry a variety of fabrics in different widths. Spoonflower's Petal Signature Cotton® and Cotton Poplin are 42” wide and can be pieced to meet any backing needs. Organic Cotton Sateen is 56” wide when you need more width, and Minky is an ultra cuddly option at 54” wide.  

We carry over twenty different fabrics for different applications including quilting and crafting, residential and commercial upholstery, and apparel uses. Discover all of our fabric types here.

All Spoonflower fabrics can be machine washed and tumbled tried on a low setting. We suggest washing with like colors on a cool cycle. Natural fiber fabrics can be pressed using a warm iron, while polyester fabrics can be pressed using a cool iron. We recommend using a pressing cloth for all fabric types.
